Preparing for the first workshop

We are excited to welcome our partner universities and organizations to the workshop we are holding in Tanzania. Our schedule of events will follow this general itinerary:

Dar es Salam: 7 - 9 January

(Accommodation at The White Sands Hotel for nights 7^th and 8^th January)

• Tuesday, 7^th January – Participants arrive
• Day 1: Wednesday, 8^th January -   Day of Introductions and Logistics (Administrative, Curriculum, Research, etc strategy discussion and decisions)
• Day 2: Thursday, 9^th January – Travel to Iringa by bus (06:00am)

 

Iringa: 10 – 14 January

(Accommodation at The New Ruaha Hotel for nights 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, 12^th, 13^th and 14^th January)

·        Day 3: Friday, 10^th January - First day of Hands-on Development of ICT4D Curriculum

·        Day 4: Saturday, 11^th January - Second day of Hands-on Development of ICT4D Curriculum

·        Day 5: Sunday, 12^th January – Flex Day

·        Day 6: Monday, 13^th January – ICT4D Summit Day 1 (Presentations – from curriculum days, and from incoming additional guests)

·        Day 7: Tuesday, 14^th January – ICT4D Summit Day 2 (Community Outreach – ICT4D in practice)

 

Ruaha National Park: 15 – 17 January

(Accommodation at Ruaha for nights 15^th and 16^th January)

 

·        Day 8: Wednesday, 15^th January – Ruaha National Park Working Groups Day 1, Flex Day, Research Development

·        Day 9: Thursday, 16^th January – Ruaha Working Groups Day 2, Research Development, Plan of Action Assignments, Evaluation of Workshop,

·        Day 10: Friday, 17^th January – Goodbyes and Travel – Travel to Dar Es Salaam (flight and bus from Ruaha to Dar es Salaam)
